«The way collaboration should be – but unfortunately rarely is.»
Our partner Markus Staub had the privilege of supporting Bucherer AG over the past three years in the global project “B’nSHAPE”, a major change initiative that included the implementation of a new ERP and POS solution. We are delighted about the successful project completion and proud to share the outstanding feedback from Alessandro Marani, the technical project lead of B’nSHAPE.
How did the collaboration with FS Partners – The CFO Company come about?
«For us, it was crucial to find an immediately available, experienced, and resilient project lead who ideally already knew Bucherer AG. We had previously worked with Markus Staub from FS Partners and had very positive experiences with him. We knew we could rely on him, so we were all the more pleased that he was able to support us on short notice.»
Was there anything particularly positive about the collaboration?
«Markus carries out his tasks with passion and a high level of precision – without getting lost in unnecessary details.»
How would you describe his communication and leadership style?
«Markus understands how to communicate in a targeted and situationally appropriate manner. Whether engaging in detailed discussions with employees or addressing the C-level, he manages to reach everyone effectively. His calm and objective approach is highly valued.»
How would you summarize the collaboration with FS Partners – The CFO Company and Markus?
«Exactly the way collaboration should be – but unfortunately rarely is. Thank you very much!»
We sincerely thank Bucherer AG for their trust and this appreciative feedback.

«The combination of implementing a new ERP solution while managing a simultaneous change process in an international environment was a unique opportunity for me.»
After recently sharing insights from our client Bucherer AG, today we want to highlight the perspective of the interim manager involved in the mandate. We spoke with Markus Staub from FS Partners about his role as an interim manager, his challenges, and his successes as Project Lead Switzerland at Bucherer.
Markus, why do you enjoy working as an interim manager?
«I love the challenge of taking on and implementing new projects. Interim work allows me to apply and share my many years of experience as a CFO in finance and IT.»
What motivated you to take on another interim role at Bucherer?
«The combination of implementing a new ERP solution while managing a simultaneous change process in an international environment was a unique opportunity for me to take on responsibility and, at the same time, learn a great deal.»
How did you handle the challenges?
«Change always involves people – even those with many years of experience. Change is not always met with open arms. Presenting transformation in a positive way requires strong persuasion skills, transparency, and continuous dialogue to clearly demonstrate the benefits of new processes.»
How would you describe the collaboration with the Bucherer AG project team?
«Constructive and collegial. Challenges were always tackled through respectful discussions and mutual support.»
What does your daily life look like now that the mandate is complete?
«After the successful completion, I will take a short break, as vacations have been rather scarce over the past two and a half years. And then, I look forward to my next challenge!»
A heartfelt thank you to Markus for these valuable insights! At FS Partners – The CFO Company, we are proud to work with such experienced and dedicated interim managers.
